Lower School Teacher (Kindergarten–4th Grade)

Position Type: Full-Time (Tuesday-Friday)
School Year: 2026–2027

Position Overview
LEAP Academy is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Lower School Teacher. The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that supports academic excellence, character formation, and a love of learning, all grounded in a biblical worldview.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core subjects using LEAP Academy’s curriculum and instructional framework

  • Create a structured, joyful, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment

  • Foster strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues

  • Integrate faith and biblical truth naturally throughout the school day

  • Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents

  • Participate in school events, professional development, and community activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required)

  • Teaching experience in elementary or lower school preferred

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Alignment with LEAP Academy’s mission, values, and statement of faith

  • A teachable spirit, flexibility, and a heart for Christian education
